01 · The vacation home
Instead of a motel room and restaurant meals, come home from the fishing grounds and grill your catch on the deck. The house sits in Masset within an easy walk of shops, marina and restaurants — the backyard runs into a tidal-marsh wildlife sanctuary, Old Masset’s totem poles stand next door, and Naikoon Provincial Park is a 30-minute drive.

02 · Luxury RVs
Fifth-wheel trailers set up in advance where you want them — typically at Hidden Island Resort near Masset — plus truck-camper combos and a motorhome for roaming the island. Generators keep everything humming at wilderness campgrounds like Agate Beach.

Two 38-foot Montanas. The 375 has five slide-outs, a king bed with picture window, two queen sofa-beds (sleeps 6), three HD TVs — one outside under the awning — Blu-Ray, stereo and a large shower. The 3402 has four slide-outs, a queen bed, recliners and a queen sofa-bed (sleeps 4), two HD TVs, built-in vacuum and twin solar panels.

Sleeps 2 couples
A meticulously maintained 30-footer — smaller and more economical than the Montanas. Queen bedroom plus a pull-out double sleeps two couples, with a nicely laid-out kitchen around a centre island and a good-sized fridge and freezer.

A 32-foot motorhome in exceptional shape: slide-out living/dining, queen bedroom plus queen over the cab, dinette double and couch single — up to seven aboard. Built-in generator, indoor and outdoor showers, TV/DVD, chairs, mat and propane BBQ. Paved roads only (Tow Hill and Agate Beach excepted).

Model 811 camper on a one-ton Chevy Silverado, both like new. Queen over the cab plus a dinette double, whisper-quiet Honda/Yamaha generator, combination shower/toilet plus outdoor shower, side awning, chairs and BBQ. Ideal for two; fine on maintained gravel, not logging roads.

Nearly new slide-out camper on a faithfully maintained Silverado ¾-ton. Queen over the cab, slide-out dinette double, quiet generator, indoor and outdoor showers, microwave, rear-door awning, chairs and BBQ. Ideal for two; maintained gravel OK, no logging roads.
Where to park it
Thirty minutes east of Masset at the foot of Tow Hill, with campsites right on the beach. Hunt agates at low tide, dip-net Dungeness crab in knee-deep water in late June and July, and hike Tow Hill, Rose Spit or the Fife Trail to East Beach straight from your site.
03 · Live-aboard · the Cuxhaven
The Cuxhaven is a 40-foot fast trawler, built in 1995 by Independent Shipwrights on Vancouver Island. Most of her hand-laid fibreglass sister hulls work the BC tuna fleet — only a handful were finished as pleasure craft, and we’re proud to own one. Choose local 1–5 day trips out of Masset, or 7–10 day Inside Passage crossings between Vancouver Island, the Lower Mainland and Haida Gwaii.
All fishing supplies included except licences (purchase before your trip). For serious anglers, the 18-ft Lifetimer or 24-ft Sea West can be towed along at additional charge. Provincial law permits alcohol only while tied up alongside or at anchor.
Seven Mile — a favourite spot to fish and overnight, just outside Masset.
